Nestled in the northern tip of the Koh Yao Noi island in Phang Nga Bay, Paradise KohYao offers an outdoor salt-chlorinated infinity pool and 250-metres of secluded private beach surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and tropical rain forest.

The shabby-chic Paradise KohYao features white-washed woods and turquoise accented linens throughout the resort. Rooms come with air conditioning, beds draped with mosquito nets, an open-air bathroom and an outdoor terrace with the resort's signature swinging lounge chairs. Inside, guests will find a TV with international channels and a minibar.

The on-site tour desk can arrange excursions to the surrounding islands such as the famous James Bond Island in addition to many other local half and full day trips. Guests can make use of the chargeable shuttle service to visit the local village, from where they can rent a bicycle or motorbike to explore the open rice fields and markets of Koh Yao Noi island. Free WiFi access throughout the resort and private parking are offered. Books, DVDs as well as indoor board games and puzzles are also available at the library.

The resort offers guests with a wide range of dining options. Exceptional
Our stay at the hotel was fantastic. The local staff's warm hospitality added to the sense of community, while the stunning beach, refreshing pool area, and beautifully appointed rooms with open balconies and showers made for a luxurious and relaxing experience. The delicious food and the surprisingly affordable rates further enhanced my stay. Overall, Paradise offers an exceptional blend of relaxation, luxury, and authentic island charm, making it a destination I can't wait to revisit.

What was the highlight of Paradise KohYao
Hornbill Haven
I put a considerable amount of research into finding a somewhat secluded paradise near spectacular but very popular Phuket and was not disappointed with this resort! Although I wouldn’t consider it remote, and it was quite large, it didn’t detract from the spectacular scenery. It is nestled between karat peaks between the turquoise sea and a beautiful patch of jungle all a short kayak ride away from stunning beaches within the National Park (where you may also get lucky and get them all to yourself for the afternoon!) As birders the best part was the lovable flock of Hornbills who happily soar amongst the trees and are very well taken care. During the previous two months of birding in the north we had only seen them once from a distance where they are very rare due to habitat loss and poaching. At Paradise, it was an incredibly special opportunity to witness their natural curiosity and silliness every morning and afternoon in the trees while soaking in our amazing plunge pool and spacious terrace. During our seven days we ate at all three restaurants (including Roots at Treehouses) and thought the quality and taste was always very good. Besides for one Italian meal at Al Fresco we always ordered Thai. Breakfast was also generous and delicious. As others mention, the food is more expensive than the rest of Thailand, but it’s also grown locally or brought in on a boat so we were not surprised nor felt the cost was disproportionate. I also had two great massages at the spa and a fantastic yoga class. We always had great interactions with the friendly and well trained staff. We only took the excursion to Koh Pakbia that was included in our stay, which was beautiful but very busy. As a scuba diver the water clarity in March was very poor, so snorkeling too would probably would be disappointing. The beaches were great! It’s definitely worth it to rent a kayak and explore the area and island north of the resort.
More bananas in the bird feeders please! Also Thai sauces with the meals would be great.

Exceptional
The view is perfect, the location is isolated and quiet, the food is great, a bit expensive but good quality. The room is thai style, big and amazing. The team is amazing, the spa is the best, the cooking class was great.
The bed was a bit too hard for us, but all the rest is the best

What was the highlight of Paradise KohYao
Paradise is a very apt name!
If you’re looking for the right place to relax with a good drink and a good view, this is it. A lot of care goes into this place. Good efforts for sustainability and comfort. You will see dozens of hornbills and other happy creatures. Breakfast is very good and offers a wide range of options. There are different things happening every day like a movie night on the beach or a bonfire gathering with free food and drinks.
For the standard of the place, the restaurant could have been better. The kids menu is disappointing (no healthy options) and the food is often oily. This resort is very isolated on the island so if you’re hoping to explore Koh Yao Noi I would recommend splitting your stay in two. Avoid the long bumpy dusty road at all costs and arrange a boat pick up instead with the hotel.
